The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is reminding the public of funding available to them for native grasslands.
The UTRCA Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program Marginal Lands Initiative aims to support enhancements or the creation of natural features to reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions, sequester carbon and increase ecosystem goods and services.
Funding is available for grasslands and pollinator strips, shelterbelts and windbreaks, fragile land retirement and wetland creation and restoration.
