A 72 year old is dead following a single vehicle crash in Wellington North.
This morning at around 1am, Wellington County OPP responded with local paramedics and fire services responded to the crash on Sideroad 5 West between Concession 9 and Highway 6.
It was determined a vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a hydro pole.
A 72 year old of Moorefield suffered serious life threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger was taken to a local hospital and airlifted to a trauma centre with minor injuries. Sideroad 5 remains closed between Highway 6 and Concession Road 9.
