It was a busy day for the Hanover Fire Department on Tuesday responding to 7 calls for service from mid-morning to the overnight hours.
The fire department says calls ranged from public assistance and standby for a neighbouring department, to downed hydro lines during a power outage, alarm investigations and a vehicle crash.
Crews worked with partner agencies over the day and evening seeing power restored to Hanover at around 1:30am on Wednesday.
The Hanover Fire Department is reminding residents if you come across a downed power line to stay back, keep others away and call 911, treating the downed wire as live and dangerous.
