The province is dishing out support for the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance.
$4,323,200 is being given as part of the government’s commitment to increase hospital funding including an up to four per cent increase in base and targeted hospital funding.
This continues to build on a funding announcement in April of $4.324 million in the Huron Perth and Area Ontario Health Team to support integrated healthcare services across the region.
Part of this funding is supporting the Huron Community Family Health Team in Seaforth, helping expand access to team-based primary care and ensuring more residents can connect with the healthcare services they need closer to home.
Andrew Williams, President and CEO of the Healthcare Alliance says these funds reinforce their ability to continue to provide the high quality care people have come to expected from the HPHA team.
