Wellington Wishes, a program with the Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home was able to make one wish come true for a 94 year old.
David Dorion is a resident at the home along with his wife with Wellington Wishes allow him to experience something he’s always wanted to do or deeply misses.
While Dorian’s answer was to go to space, Wellington Terrace was able to do the next best thing on his 94th birthday.
Dorian, along with Recreation Therapist Karn Denkers attended An Evening with Chris Hadfield, giving a chance to meet the former astronaut and hear stories on his career including as the first Canadian to command the International Space Station.
