Wellington North is reminding drivers of the No Stopping Areas across the municipality, including John Street in Mount Forest.
While in No Stopping Zones, vehicles are not permitted to stop at all, not even if its just for a quick stop.
This includes drivers pulling over to drop off passengers, waiting briefly or idling their vehicle.
You may not stop unless for safety or directed by a police officer.
Many no stopping zones are in effect during weekday mornings and afternoon peak times, especially near schools and busy areas.
