The Township of Puslinch is launching its new Additional Residential Unit Grant Program, designed to support homeowners to make long term rental units.
Coming from funding from the Wellington County’s Housing Development Grant Program, this allows homeowners to make basement apartments, above garage suites and detached units.
The program encourages gentle, low impact intensification aligning with provincial legislation to address housing needs.
$200,000 in funding is available to support up to 20 new residential units.
Applications will be taken on a first come, first serve basis from May 2026 to September 2027.
