Perth County working alongside the Rotary Club of Stratford has completed a roadside tree planting initiative.
The project saw 189 new trees be planted along a 4km stretch of Perth Road 112 between Stratford and Harmony.
Staff worked with 60 volunteers from the Rotary Club and other community organizations took part in the event.
Warden Dean Trentowsky says projects like this enhance our landscape and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
5 different species of trees was planted including Sugar Maple, Basswood, Red Maple Bur Oak and Hackberry.
