A Shelburne resident is facing charges after an incident in Wellington North.
On February 14th at around 11:30pm, OPP were on snow vehicle patrol on an Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs trail.
As officers approached a group of riders, one sped off who failed to stop for officers despite their emergency lights being active.
The 57 year old was eventually arrested and charged with Careless Driving, Fail to Stop and Speeding.
OPP are reminding riders they must stop for approaching police operated snowmobiles with their lights flashing.
