As OPP mark Ontario Snowmobile Safety Week, Wellington County OPP have already been busy, charging multiple riders over the weekend.
Among them includes on February 8th when officers conducting trail permit compliance checks charged a 23 year old of Belwood with No Licence and Driving a Motorized Snow Vehicle with Trail Permit Not Issued.
OPP are reminding riders to always have and carry a valid driver’s license, motorized snow vehicle operators licence, have proof of ownership and insurance as well as having a valid snowmobile trail permit affixed to your sled while on the trials.
