While snowfall hasn’t stayed, its only a matter of time and Centre Wellington is making sure residents are prepared for the tobogganing season.
The township in a statement says as they look forward to the community enjoying the season and the toboggan hills, staff have put up measures such as fencing, stakes and straw bales to ensure everyone enjoys the season safely.
The township says sadly many of these measures are repeatedly damaged or moved over the last few days who say if this continues they might have no choice but to close to hills to ensure everyone’s safety.
Residents are asked to respect the safety equipment and help them keep the hills open and safe for all.
