A 35 year old is facing multiple charges who attacked an officer during an arrest.
On November 3rd at around 1:45pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of mischief at a residence on Belsyde Avenue in Fergus.
A 35 year old was charged with Mischief Destroying or Damaging Property, Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking.
The accused while being taken into custody they became combative where they were then charged with Assaulting a Peace Officer and Mischief Under $5000.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
