The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation has received a $60,000 donation from the Lucknow & District Kinsmen.
This donation will help purchase a new bone density scanner for the hospital a service which hasn’t been previously available locally.
Bone density scans are important diagnostic tools which help detect osteoporosis and assess fracture risk.
Funds raised for this donation come off the success of Music in the Fields and the Dungannon Superpull & Demo Derby.
Nicole Duquette-Jutzi, Executive Director of the Wingham & District Hospital says their dedication, generosity and countless hours they invest directly translates to quality health care close to home.
