Emma Westendorp of Minto is among 10 students named to receive a scholarship and bursary from Wellington County.
Ten locals within the county were named on the list based on academic achievement, community involvement and financial need.
Each of the students were honoured during a County council meeting with $1000 to be used towards post secondary.
Students named include;

- Isaac Turner – Township of Centre Wellington
- Kaela deVries – Township of Guelph/Eramosa
- Ava Fleming – Township of Guelph/Eramosa
- Zachary Schmelter – Town of Erin
- Alex Kirkpatrick – Town of Erin
- Rebekah McDougall – Township of Wellington North
- Kaylee Chapman – Puslinch Township
- Rebecca Driedger – Mapleton Township
- Emma Westendorp – Town of Minto
