Following an incident at the North Perth Trail, the North Perth Fire Department is urging everyone to get their hands on the what3words app for their smartphones.
Fire crews responded to the incident on the trail with responders having some difficulty locating the injured person as the information provided to 911 was limited.
The fire department says with the what3words app it makes it simple to locate anyone no matter where they are as a unique 3 word combination is given to every 3 metre span in the world.
An example includes the Listowel Clock Tower 3 words being showdown.sticks.clash.
