Wellington County OPP are turning to the public to assist with multiple thefts of historical and bridge dedication plaques.
On July 29th, OPP received a report of a plaque, the Queens Bush Settlement 1820-1867 being removed within a Glen Allan Park on Sideroad 17 in Mapleton.
On August 15th, two more historical plaques belonging to the Arthur Agricultural Society were taken from the entrance to the Arthur Community Centre on Domville Street.
Police say since May this year around 16 other plaques have been stolen across Wellington County. Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP.
