Stratford Festival has announced its 2026 season and the final year under Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino.
After a 40 year career with the festival, 14 of which as artisitc director, Cimolino is closing out with a series of plays and productions spanning genres, eras and styles.
Cimolino says in the planning season he chose plays among his personal favourites and that hold great meaning to him.
He adds this season will explore the power of performance itself, plays within plays and acts of imagination that remind us that illusion is not just entertainment, it’s a tool for truth.
