Wellington County OPP have charged a Mapleton man after not stopping for police.
On August 4th at around 8:30am, police was preforming traffic enforcement and observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed when a traffic stop was initiated on Wellington Road 12 when the man did not stop for police.
Shortly after, police patrolling located the vehicle involved and arrested the 18 year old Moorefield.
The accused was charged with Failing to Stop for Police, Dangerous Operation, Stunt Driving and Flight from a Peace Officer.
