Food Day Canada is quickly approaching on August 2nd and in Wellington County, it holds a much larger meaning where the day all originated from.
Recognized across the country, Food Day Canada all started by Elora’s Anita Stewart who was an accomplished author, researcher, member of the Order of Canada and University of Guelph Food Laureate.
Various events hosted throughout the day include Elora’s Longest BBQ, The Great Canadian Food Trail and the Wellington-Guelph Farmers Market celebrating Food Day Canada.
