The Local Community Food Centre in Stratford is getting a boost from the province.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae announced the funding of $60,900 through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Seed Grant stream.
The funding will allow the Local to build a volunteer tax clinic and financial literacy program which will help many throughout the community.
Rae says the Tax Smart, Thrive More program helps teach smart money management and offers free tax returns and the first step to empower individuals in our community to find success and confidence with their personal finances.
