Three people have been rescued after a canoe capsized.
On May 17th at around 6:30pm, Wellington County OPP responded to the scene with Guelph-Eramosa Fire, the Guelph Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics after three people needed rescue when a canoe capsized at the Rockwood Conservation Area.
The three who were all wearing life-jackets managed to climb onto a small island where they were stranded for around one hour.
One person was taken to hospital as a precaution with two other treated on scene.
