Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges

A traffic stop in Fergus has hit a 24 and 27 year old with a list of charges.

On May 8th at around 8pm, OPP stopped a vehicle on Second Line near Tower Street South with the stop resulting in two people being arrested without incident.

A quantity of cocaine, fentanyl, hydromorphone, cash and other property. The estimate value of the drugs is hit at $8800.

A 24 year old of Kitchener has been charged with three counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance, Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition for Dangerous Purpose and Breach of Recognizance.

A 27 year old was also charged with possession with both appearing in court at a later.
