Stratford council has approved the 2025 budget, coming with a 5.46 per cent tax rate increase.
There was hopes from some council members to get the number down to around 5 per cent but the vote 7-4 kept the number at 5.46 per cent.
The total tax levy for the city comes in at just over $8 million.
