Winter has not let off the gas with Perth County declaring a Significant Weather Event.
As of 10:30pm on Monday the weather event was declared which will apply to all County roads but doesn’t apply to to local township roads or provincial highways.
John McClelland, Executive Director of Public Works says we are seeing substantially deteriorating conditions across road networks due to high winds and blowing a drifting snow.
OPP have shutdown Highway 86 as of 8pm Monday and remains closed due to the poor conditions.
