No injuries were reported in a grease fire in North Perth on Tuesday.
Atwood and Listowel Stations both responded to the fire in the afternoon when a passerby called 911 when he had noticed smoke coming from a home.
Occupants were able to safely evacuate when they heard smoke alarms going and waited for fire crews to arrive.
Damage was just limited to the stove from the grease fire.
The North Perth Fire Department is reminding residents to never cook unattended, use caution when cooking with oil, ensure your smoke alarms are working and to keep a lid close and put a lid on if a fire breaks out and if its safe to do so.
