The Palmerston & District Hospital Foundation is now in the final stretch of fundraising to bring an MRI to the hospital.
With a goal of $8 million, the MRI committee has reached the $7 million mark which has been supported from the community including with recent donations.
On December 11th, the hospital foundation accepted a $25,000 donation from Palmerston Home Hardware.
The hospital says they are very grateful for the support from the business community.
