100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington have made a pledge of $12,500 towards the Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The donation will directly to the hospitals goal to purchasing a new CT Scanner.
Earlier last month the hospital announced they were near their halfway goal of raising $2 million for the purchase of a new CT Scanner with their current being 15 years old an in need of replacement.
Last year over 6000 patients at Groves received a CT Scan during their care.
