North Perth Deputy Mayor Doug Kellum has been elected as the next Warden for Perth County.
Kellum was voted at this mornings County council meeting who will step after Perth East Mayor Rhonda Ehgoetz served two terms as warden.
Every year, council elects one of its councilors to serve as Warden.
Kellum says the year ahead will be an exciting one across the county.
“To my colleagues around the council table as well as staff members at the county and lower tiers. I look forward to working with all of you and the people of Perth County to build a prosperous future for our community.” said Kellum.
West Perth Deputy Mayor Dean Trentowsky was named as Deputy Warden for Perth County.
