The Town of Erin has passed its 2025 Budget and its 2026 to 2028 Forecasts. The move was made at this past Thursday council meeting.

The budget includes a 2.4 percent levy increase, which for the average home assessed at $600,000 will mean an annual tax increase of $45.

The budget will see investment in IT, road infrastructure, and recreation as the Town anticipates population growth.

Wendy Parr, Director of Finance and Treasurer with the Town says that the budget protects core services and investing in infrastructure.

The Town of Erin collects property tax on behalf of the County of Wellington and the Upper Grand District School Board, which this year accounted for 72 percent of the total tax collected.
