From the success of last weekends auction at the Listowel Agricultural Society’s Harvest Dinner, a large scale of funds have been donated to the Fisher Family Primary Care Clinic and the Doctor Recruitment Campaign.
The Harvest Dinner last weekend was complete with the Field of Dreams Auction which all in all was able to raise $120,000 for the campaign.
Ralph Coneybeare with the Agricultural Society says he’s overwhelmed from the support of the community to make this all possible.
“It’s just a really really good feeling to be able to present this kind of money to these people and hopefully it goes and we get a couple of doctors out of it I mean that’s the end goal isn’t it? Hopefully it all works, I’m pretty happy.” said Coneybeare.
The Field of Dreams done by the Agricultural Society goes back to 2000.
