Wellington County OPP are warning residents about the increase of deer on the roadways.
During this time of year deer activity increases which leads to a higher risk of collisions.
During the fall, deer are more active due to mating season and are out often looking for food.
Drivers are asked to stay alert, reduce your speed, use your high beams wisely at night and brake firmly and to never swerve.
OPP remind drivers to always report any collisions if you do hit a deer.
