A fail to remain has resulted in charged against a 27 year old.
On September 3rd at around 3:15pm, Wellington County OPP attempted to stop the driver of a silver sedan on Peel Street in Mount Forest.
The vehicle fled the area but was then involved in a fail to remain crash.
With the help of the West Region Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, a 27 year old from Harriston was arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation, Flight from Police, Fail to Stop After an Accident, Driving Under Suspension and Operating an Unsafe Vehicle.
No injuries were reported in the crash with the accused due in court at a later date.
