The NDP has snapped its supply and confidence deal with the Liberal Party, pushing the big question of a coming federal election.
Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh notified Prime Minister Justin Trudeau he is no longer backing up the Liberal government, saying the Liberals are too weak, too selfish and too beholden to corporate interests to stop the Conservatives.
Pierre Poilievre, leader of the Conservative Party recently called on Singh to pull out of the agreement and that the NDP and Bloc Quebecois vote non-confidence on the minority government when Parliament returns this month.
