Centre Wellington has opened up the new Church Street trail, just as students this morning head back to school.
The township says the new asphalt lane path has created a safe pathway for students to head to Elora Public School while also allowing users to connect to the Elora Cataract Trailway.
Centre Wellington received a grant from the Government of Canada’s Healthy Communities Initiative to get the work done.
The township adds the grant was sued to conduct the Church Street Multi Use Trail Project to increase community mobility.
