Elizabeth Laros, Natalia Skorupska and Jennifer Baia have been named as the winners of Wellington North’s 25th Anniversary Art Contest.
The contest brought in a range of talented artists across the region who showcased their creativity and passion for the community.
Laros’ piece was a puzzle shaped map of Wellington North, taking a step to show Mount Forest being raised to emphasize its elevation.
Skorupska worked with her art teacher to make a nostalgic painting inspired by a 1913 postcard.
Baia highlighted the diverse aspects of Wellington North’s community.
Each artist will receive a $1000 prize with their artwork being reproduced and displayed across the area.
