A big couple of nights for the Listowel U22 Junior Legionnaires who won 3 games in 3 nights, capturing the Midwestern Ontario Senior Baseball League U22 Championship.
On Monday, the Legionnaires took down North Middlesex Sluggers 6-0 with a shutout by Nich Verbeek.
On Tuesday in Mitchell, Listowel grabbed the 14-8 win over the Astros and then defeated Clinton on Wednesday 13-5 in 5 innings for the championship.
The Legionnaires had a rough start to the season but have capped with 7 wins and 3 losses in their last 10.
