Two people have been charged following an intimate partner violence investigation.
On August 12th, Wellington County OPP began the investigation in Harriston.
As a result a 23 year old man from Harriston was charged with assault.
Further, a 21 year old woman from Guelph was also charged with assault with both appearing in Guelph court at a later date.
Victims of intimate partner violence and sexual assault are reminded of local resources available to them including Victim Services Wellington and Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis.
