The Listowel Legion is kicking off a new program aimed to support seniors.
Dubbed Forever Comrades, the event is a dance starting on September 17th going from 1-3pm featuring 50’s and 60’s music at Parkview Gardens.
The dance is complete with a 50-50 draw, door prizes and spot dance prizes provided by local businesses.
Sherry Hamilton says this will be the first of many new events being provided as they look to support those aged 50 and older but all ages are welcome to attend.
More events are planned down the road such as bingo, trivia, karaoke and police doing scam alert programs.
Ideas are also open from the public they’d like to see at Parkview Gardens.
