The Town of Minto is warning residents who are entering in on Harriston Rising’s Buffet on the Boulevard contest to be aware of a fake account.
An account posing as the Town of Minto is responding to contestants over Facebook saying they are a winner and provide them with a link to register and get their prize.
The town says this is nothing more than a scam adding if you’ve provided any personal or financial information from the link you are urged to contact the OPP.
