Jasper, Alberta is on fire.
Images of the destruction of the wildfire at one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country has ravaged the area.
The fire inside Jasper National Park arrived at the town at 6pm with first responders being evacuated given how dangerous the situation has become.
Parks Canada says multiple buildings in the mountain town were impacted, including the popular Maligne Lodge being fully engulfed in flames.
The Alberta government has requested for help from the military to deal with the fires across the province.
