The Listowel Memorial Hospital Obstetrics Department is set to reopen soon.
This spring the hospital alliance made the decision to temporarily close the doors who made a promise to return come fall.
The department closed in March after 6-8 full time registered nurses were on maternity leave.
As of September 16th, the Listowel Hospital Obstetrical program will reopen for labour and deliveries.
OB staff and physicians have sent their thanks to the community, patients and regional partners for their patience and understanding as they work to reopen their doors.
