The union representing striking LCBO workers and the Crown corporation will meet today at the bargaining table.

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union says the bargaining team will present a plan to the LCBO including demands of protecting jobs and millions in public revenue.

Todays meeting marks the first between both sides since the July 5th strike deadline.

More than 9000 LCBO workers are on strike with all stores closed across the province.

The union has stood its ground on the primary point of contention being the Ford government’s expansion of alcohol sales in the province.

OPSEAU adds the expansion could see job loss and impact the $2.5 billion in revenue the products generate for public service every year.
