Hopefully your liquor shelf is topped up as for the first time in Ontario history, LCBO workers are on strike.

Talks between the Crown corporation and its employees union broke Thursday night and officially at 12:01am, 7000 employees went on strike.

For the next 2 weeks every LCBO store in the province is closed.

If the strike remains ongoing as of July 19th, 30 stores would be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a limited number of hours.

While LCBO stores close, not every seller is affected such as smaller handlers with an LCBO attachment such as Alma Convenience who have shared to community groups that despite the strike they will still be selling products.
