Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry students have begun their learning and training across Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance communities are part of the Discovery Week.
This marks the 26th anniversary of the partnership with medical students on placement with all first year students having participated in immersive one week placements in health care settings across Southwestern Ontario.
28 medical students are at HPHA sites being exposed to teamwork and collaboration undertaken within a rural site and get the chance to discover all the community has to offer.
During Discover Week 2024 more than 170 students will be placed across 31 communities.
