Property owners across Wellington County are being asked to get rid of any noxious weeds on their property by June 1st and over the course of the season.
The county issued a noticed to all property owners with land not exceeding ten acres to destroy all noxious weeds growing on their land.
This notice spans all municipalities in the county.
A municipality may otherwise enter your property and have the weeds destroyed and charging the costs against the land as part of the Weed Control Act.
