Stratford Festival is reporting a $404,000 surplus for the 2023 season.
Officials say with the season now wrapped up, over 443,000 people came to Stratford for the shows in 2023, an increase of 35 per cent when compared to the same time last year.
The total revenue for the year at Stratford Festival was $80.1 million against expenses of $79.7 million.
The festival last week published a report which revealed it has had an economic impact of $276.7 million.
