The 57th annual Gord Hymers Tournament is all set this weekend.
Games are taking place at the Steve Kerr and at the Elma Logan Recreation Complex.
The yearly tournament features U11 Rep teams from across the province with 16 teams taking part.
On top of hockey action there will be a 50-50 and a silent auction with concert tickets including Zach Bryan as well as sport tickets for the Leafs and Blue Jays.
Shane Van Allen who’s helping put on the tournament says every year this tournament draws in quite the crowd with packed arenas all weekend long.
“It’s just an awesome event, since 1967 its part of Listowel. In the hockey world its the one that kids want to be in and parents want to see.” said Van Allen.
The first match goes at the Steve Kerr featuring the U11 Listowel Cyclones taking on the South Bruce Blades on Friday at 8:30am.
