The Upper Grand District School Board is making the swap for PA Days in April.
Given the solar eclipse on April 8th, the school board has now moved April 19th’s PA Day to the 8th.
The Wellington Catholic District School Board has also moved the date of their PA Day to the 8th.
In a joint statement, both boards said the move is due to potential safety and supervision concerns related to a rare total solar eclipse set to occur during school dismissal hours.
