The Pyramid Rec Centre in St Marys will be closed for sometime after a rainwater pipe fell from the ceiling and into the pool.
Nobody was at the pool at the time and no injuries were reported according to officials.
The pool and rec centre has been closed as engineers inspect the remaining pipes with anything attached to the walls and pool area.
Officials add the cause of the fall was a metal hanger which held the pipe in place breaking.
The pool will stay closed until further notice until the repairs have been made and engineers rule its safe for the public.
