Hanover police are investigating a case of arson.
Police were joined with the Hanover Fire Department for an attempted arson at the Travelers Inn Motel on 7th Avenue.
Preliminary investigation found on December 15th at around 6:35pm a suspect intentionally started a fire using an accelerant at the west entrance of the motel before fleeing on foot.
The fire was extinguished by occupants at the motel with only minor damage being reported with no injuries.
Police are still investigating the matter.
